bringing people together.

β€œThere’s a lot of people who want to make connections with others but just don’t necessarily know how and I think it’s important to break those barriers and provide open communication throughout the community.”

what is it?

In 2018 and 2019, our Bridges of Hope team attached uplifting and positive messages to frequently traveled bridges within the Waterloo Region area. By doing this, we positively impacted the lives of many in our community, especially those who need encouragement the most. Following the attachment ceremony, local leaders, politicians, youth and advocates shared stories from their own journey with mental health.
