Meet Liv

Olivia Miller is an 22 year-old advocate from Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.

Olivia is the co-founder and director of the Bridges of Hope Project and a speaker with national youth mental health advocacy organization Jack.org, and locally, The Ripple Effect Education and The Umbrella Project.

Bridges of Hope is a platform by youth for promoting mental health awareness by execution of local events and social media campaigns. Olivia uses this platform to speak at community events, national webinars, conferences and local schools, sharing her personal struggles with mental health and conflicts.

Olivia began an online platform, Self Talk With Liv, during the pandemic to continue mental health advocacy efforts virtually. She focuses on empowering youth to recognize their own thought patterns, encourage boundary setting and explore the many challenges that youth currently face.

We need to do more for young people.

Olivia believes that youth are our future, and it’s time that we treat them like the valuable leaders that they are.
